¡BIENVENIDOS!
Para solicitar la cohorte de kínder del Programa de Inmersión bidireccional en Jewett Elementary, primero debe completar uno de los dos requisitos:
- Se puede mirar el video del Recorrido Virtual, completar el cuestionario sobre el video, y chequear su correo electrónico para la solicitud en línea.
O
- Se puede realizar un recorrido en persona por las aulas de kínder y primer grado en Jewett, aprender sobre el programa y obtener respuestas a sus preguntas, y luego completar la solicitud en línea. Para programar un recorrido, llame a Jennifer Rodriguez al 541-494-6602.
Si necesita apoyo con su solicitud, por favor llama a Charissa Spranger la subdirectora de Jewett a 541-494-6602 y haremos una cita para venir a la escuela para completar la solicitud.
Kinder Application Process
WELCOME!
To apply for the kindergarten cohort of the Two-Way Spanish Immersion Program at Jewett Elementary, you need to first complete one of two requirements:
- You can watch the Jewett TWI Virtual Tour, complete the post tour questionnaire, and then check your email for the online application.
OR
- You can take an in-person tour through the kindergarten and first grade classrooms at Jewett, learn about the program and get your questions answered, and then complete the online application. To schedule a tour, call Jennifer Rodriguez at 541-494-6602.

TRANSFERENCIAS
Si vive en el distrito escolar de Central Point, pero fuera del área de asistencia de TWI para el nivel de grado de su estudiante, deberá completar una TRANSFERENCIA EN EL DISTRITO. Puede encontrar esa aplicación aquí: https://www.district6.org/transfer/. ¡Por favor, asegúrase de seleccionar el formulario del año escolar correcto!
Si vive fuera del Distrito Escolar de Central Point, deberá comunicarse con la oficina del distrito de su distrito de residencia y completar una TRANSFERENCIA FUERA DEL DISTRITO.

Transfer Application Process
TRANSFERS
If you live in the Central Point School District, but outside of the TWI attendance area for your student´s grade level, you will need to fill out an IN DISTRICT TRANSFER. You can find that application here: https://www.district6.org/transfer/. Please ensure that you fill out the transfer for the correct school year!
If you live outside the Central Point School District, you will need to contact the district office for your district of residence and complete an OUT OF DISTRICT TRANSFER.

Si su estudiante está en los grados primero a duodécimo y se está transfiriendo al Distrito Escolar de Central Point, comuníquese con la escuela a la que asistirá su hijo al inscribirse en TWI para programar una cita para un examen de colocación. Damos la bienvenida a nuestro programa a los estudiantes que se transfieren de otros programas bilingües, de países de habla hispana o que han crecido en hogares bilingües/bialfabetizados, según lo permita el espacio.
Si su hijo estará en los grados primero a quinto, llame a la escuela primaria Jewett al 541-494-6600 para programar una cita.
Si su hijo estará en los grados sexto a octavo, llame a la escuela secundaria Hanby al 541-494-6800 para programar una cita.
Si su hijo estará en los grados noveno a duodécimo, llame a Crater High School al 541-494-6226 para programar una cita.

If your student is in first through twelfth grades and you are transferring into the Central Point School District, please contact the school your child would be attending upon TWI enrollment to set an appointment for a placement examination. We welcome students transferring from other bilingual programs, from Spanish-speaking countries, or who have grown up in bilingual/biliterate households into our program as space allows.
If your child will be in first through fifth grades, please call Jewett Elementary School at 541-494-6600 to make your appointment.
If your child will be in sixth through eighth grades, please call Hanby Middle School at 541-494-6800 to make your appointment.
If your child will be in ninth through twelfth grades, please call Crater High School at 541-494-6226 to make your appointment.
