Safety & Security
Maintaining a safe school environment is a priority of Central Point School District 6. Many factors are critical to securing the safety and well-being of students during school hours and at school-sponsored activities. District staff collaborate with community partners to review and enhance district practices - and to provide training to staff and students in routine safety measures as well as emergency preparedness.
CPSD6 is fortunate to have established strong partnerships with local social service agencies and law enforcement officials throughout the City and County. There are many proactive programs supported by these partnerships that are designed to protect the safety of students through educating, engaging and supporting them in making positive choices in their lives.
The CPSD Safety Team oversees and manages all district campus supervisors and supports schools in emergency situations. This can include:
-
Standard Response Protocol
-
Health & Site Reports (HASS)
-
SafeOregon Anonymous Tip Line
-
Emergency Preparedness
-
Clean Air
-
Inclement Weather & Delayed Start Procedures
