Dear Central Point School District 6 Community,

I am thrilled to extend my warmest greetings to all the wonderful members of the Central Point School District 6 family. It is an absolute honor to serve as your Superintendent.

Allow me to share a little about myself and my journey within this remarkable community. I am not just a dedicated educator; I am also a proud husband and father. My wife and I are blessed with two amazing children, both of whom attend schools right here in the D6 district. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I am truly invested in ensuring the success and well-being of every child in our schools.

My roots in the Rogue Valley run deep, as I have called this beautiful region home since 1987. From my days at Eagle Point High School to my studies at Southern Oregon University and Western Oregon University, every step has shaped my commitment to education and community service.

Over the years, I have worn many hats in the field of education, including roles as a special education instructional assistant, social studies teacher, leadership teacher, alternative education teacher, attendance coordinator, dean of students, student services coordinator and elementary principal. Each position has provided unique insights and a deep understanding of the diverse needs of our students.

Beyond the walls of our schools, you'll find me enjoying the incredible outdoor opportunities that Southern Oregon offers. I have a passion for camping, boating, hunting, skiing, and relishing in the natural beauty that surrounds us. It is this love for our area that fuels my dedication to creating an enriching educational experience for our students, preparing them for success and instilling a sense of pride in their community.

I am committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive. Together, let's continue to build a strong foundation for the future of our community and empower our students to  reach new heights.
