Federal & State Programs
The Federal & State Programs Department is responsible for overseeing and administering funds received from the federal government for our Title programs and the Oregon Department of Education for Integrated Programs and additional grants. The intent of these programs is to address the diverse needs of our schools and student population.
Federal grants include:
- Title IA: Improving Basic Programs
- Title IC: Education of Migratory Students
- Title IIA: Professional Development and Improving Teacher Quality
- Title III: Language Instruction for Limited English Proficient and Immigrant Students

Title IV-A: Student Support & Academic Enrichment
- Title VI: Meeting the Unique Educational and Culturally-related Academic Needs of Native American and Alaska Native Students
- Title VII-B: McKinney-Vento Act – Homeless Education Program
- Title IX: Civil Rights

- Bridge to Outdoor School
- Early Literacy Success Initiative Grant (ELSI)

All of these federal and state programs are designed to support the Central Point School District's efforts tied to the State of Oregon's academic standards, in order to ensure that all children receive the high quality education they need to be fully prepared for the future.
