Roars from Mr. Rambo

Jewett Community-

October is here and that means a lot will be going on at Jewett Elementary.  We just had a very successful Jog-A-Thon and are preparing for many events in October.  Thanks to all of the PTO parents who donate time and energy to provide quality activities for our students.

October is an important academic month.  Teachers spent the month of September establishing classroom expectations and getting students back into the swing of school.  Please note the dates for fall conferences this year.  Parent / Teacher conferences will be October 25-27th.  Be on the lookout for information coming home in Tuesday folders.

As always, thanks for partnering with us in our efforts to make Jewett the best possible school for our students.

Tom Rambo

In order to increase student safety, parents who will be picking up their students after school need to remain in the designated pick up areas.  These areas are at the front of the school or under the covered area.  Parents should not wait outside classrooms to pick up their student.  Students should use the crosswalk at the front of the school to approach their parents vehicle.  Students should not cut across the parking lot at any other area.
