All applications are reviewed and evaluated by administrators and supervisors. Candidates that possess the skills, knowledge and experience required to perform the responsibilities and duties  of the position at a high level will be contacted by phone to schedule an interview.

We will contact you if you are selected for an interview.  Please do not contact school principals or departments directly.

CLASSIFIED SUBSTITUTING

Classified substitute applications may be submitted through Talent Ed Recruit and Hire. Once you have submitted the application, contact the Human Resource office at 541-494-6238 to schedule an appointment for fingerprinting and payroll processing.

New substitutes will need to bring I-9 documentation to this appointment. Click Here and view page 9 for a list of acceptable documents for the I-9 form. Once fingerprinting, paperwork and employee training have been completed, you will be added to the District 6 substitute list. Principals and secretaries will contact substitutes as they need them throughout the year.

Many of our current classified employees started off as substitutes or volunteers, which is why we encourage prospective employees to get involved.  Go to any of our schools and introduce yourself to the principal and front office staff.  Become a volunteer if you have the time.
